I smell gas — what do I do right now?

Leave the house immediately, don’t flip any light switches or operate anything electrical on your way out, and call your gas utility provider’s emergency line from outside once you’re clear. Once the utility has confirmed it’s safe, call us to find and repair the source of the leak.

Is it safe to run my own gas line?

No — gas line work requires proper sizing, code-compliant materials, and pressure testing to confirm there’s no leak before the line goes into service. A mistake here isn’t like a plumbing leak you can just mop up later.

How do I know if my existing gas line can handle a new appliance?

It depends on your current line size and how many appliances are already running off it. We check total demand against your existing piping before recommending a new appliance hookup — sometimes the line needs upsizing, sometimes it doesn’t.

Do you install gas lines for outdoor features like grills and fire pits?

Yes — outdoor gas runs for grills, fire pits, and pool heaters are common work, sized and installed the same way an indoor line would be.
